PINTA launches in June its second London Fair to show the best of modern and contemporary Latin American Art.
PINTA has been taking place for the last four years in New York City, where it has become renowned as the annual meeting place for Latin American art. For the second time in London, over fifty art galleries from the Americas and Europe will be showcasing an important range of works by established and emerging Latin American artists.
This is an opportunity to experience the most distinguished visual art from Latin America. Once again at PINTA, visitors, galleries, artists, collectors, curators and European and American institutions will strengthen their existing knowledge and will develop new connections with the Latin American art world.
PINTA also presents an interesting and engaging diary of lectures and debates organised by the University of Essex, Latin American Art Collection and TrAIN, University of the Arts Research Centre for Transnational Art, Identity and Nation, which includes curators, artists, dealers and collectors.
From Colombia, the galleries Christopher Paschall Galeria s. XXI and LGM Arte Internacional will be taking part at the fair.

CONSULADO MOVIL EDIMBURGO

"EL SABADO CONSULAR DEL 11 DE JUNIO DE 2011, SE TRASLADA A EDIMBURGO, ESCOCIA"
El Consulado General de Colombia en Londres se complace en informar a la comunidad colombiana residente en Escocia, que el día sábado, 11 de Junio de 2011 se llevará a cabo un "Consulado Móvil" en la ciudad de Edinburgh con el fin de atender trámites consulares y de registro de los connacionales residentes en esta ciudad, las islas Escocesas y otras ciudades vecinas, como también ciudades del Norte de Inglaterra.
En el marco de esta jornada, se realizarán autenticaciones de firma en poderes especiales y otros documentos, supervivencias, permisos de salida de menor, pasaportes, registros civiles (nacimiento, matrimonio y defunción), libretas militares y cédulas de ciudadanía (se llevará tecnología de la Registraduría).
El Consulado Móvil se realizará el Sábado, 11 de Junio de 2011, de 9:00 a.m. a 5:00 p.m.

Sin embargo, hay que tener en cuenta que sin los documentos necesarios y los requisitos completos, incluyendo las características de las fotos para cada caso, no puede ser posible adelantar ningún trámite, por ello invitamos a los interesados a que verifiquen previamente los requisitos para los trámites y el valor de los mismos en la página de la red www.consuladodecolombia.co.uk Esperamos poder beneficiarnos de un servicio de fotografía móvil de Edinburgh dentro del hotel, a costos comerciales durante la jornada.
